About the Position

We are currently seeking a Senior DevOps Developer who can help drive the efforts to build and secure our SDLC workflows and Cloud environments. As part of this team, you will be responsible for development of scalable and low-friction developer tools and services that enable secure accelerated development and ML experimentation. Additionally you will be responsible for keeping the organization’s data, network, and cloud infrastructure safe and free from security threats through active monitoring, development and testing.

What You'll Do

• Build out SDLC workflows: Define and evolve Build & Release best practice by working within teams and educating the other stakeholder teams. These best practices should support traceability & auditability of change. Automate deployment pipelines in a scalable, secure and reliable manner
  
• Complex SAAS application engineering: Work with cross-functional co-located teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise scalable features related to enabling higher developer productivity, environment monitoring and self-healing, and facilitate autonomous delivery teams.
  
• Ship commercial solutions: Ensuring that we are actively monitoring, maintaining and securing our services is critical for the success of our customers. You will be helping define key metrics and alerts to help effectively monitor our services.
  
• Build Infrastructure as Code: Engineer solutions on AWS using Infrastructure As Code methods such as Terraform and CloudFormation. Build infrastructure automation tools and frameworks leveraging Docker, Kubernetes.
  

What You've Done

• CS fundamentals: You have proven foundations of Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent along with programming experience in one or more of the following languages: Python, Rust, Java, JavaScript, Go, Groovy, Scala.
  
• Cloud Experience: You have deep experience deploying apps and services to the cloud (AWS or otherwise), and maintaining and evolving them with automation/configuration management tool (Github Actions, Terraform, Ansible or an equivalent).
  
• Distributed Services expertise: You have worked on large scale distributed systems with deep understanding of design impacts on performance, reliability, operations, and security. Understanding of self-healing/immutable microservice based architectures, cloud platforms, clustering models, networking technologies is a big plus.
  
• CI/CD Workflow Development: You have experience of working with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) and continuous testing tools. Additionally, you have extensive knowledge of institutionalizing Agile and DevOps tools not limited to but including Artifactory, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.
  
• Self-Driven: You are a self starter and are able to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
